Dr. Hiemstra is a Paediatrician in Private Practice with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to children’s health and well-being.
He obtained his MB.,Ch.B. in 1996 from Stellenbosch University and his MMed (Paed) also from Stellenbosch University. He is a Fellow of the College of Paediatricians of South Africa.
Dr. Hiemstra has a special interest in children facing challenges with learning and behaviour and living with neurodiversity. With a considered problem-solving mindset, he believes in multidisciplinary approaches to meet the individual needs of each patient.
Dedicated to providing thoughtful, attentive care to children of all ages with a calm and reassuring approach, Dr. Hiemstra works closely with families to support each child's health, growth, and well-being.
Whether it is a routine check-up or a first-time visit, he strives to create a bright, cheerful, and welcoming space where little ones feel heard,
